Artific, developer of the leading AI platform of the same name, is proud to announce the launch of its own GenAI Research Lab.
This strategic initiative focuses on fundamental research, rapid innovation and the concrete application of Generative AI (GenAI). The research lab positions itself as the knowledge centre that turns GenAI breakthroughs into real business results.
Why the GenAI Research Lab?
There are plenty of AI labs, but they often lack deep GenAI specialisation. GenAI takes more than model development: it demands in-depth research, speed and strategic application.
We are building the GenAI Research Lab that others want to copy. We focus on fundamental research into applicable GenAI and make room to experiment along the way. That way we learn faster and build our lead in usable GenAI solutions.

Three tracks: from idea to impact
The GenAI Research Lab works along three dynamic tracks:
- Research: we follow the latest GenAI developments closely, build up knowledge and share insights through talks, papers and open tools.
- Prototyping: ideas are tested at high speed for desirability, feasibility and viability. No thick reports, but working proofs of concept.
- Collaboration: we strengthen teams and customers directly with advice, smart tools and applicable insights.
The driving forces behind the GenAI Research Lab are Erik van der Pluijm and Niels Bloom.
Vision for the future
What starts as an internal initiative will grow into an internationally leading lab by 2027. The goal: to combine in-depth research and knowledge sharing with real business impact, for Artific, its partners and its customers.
